The Rebirth of Jewish Life in Poland
A Community Program with Jonathan Ornstein
The Augusta Jewish Museum, in partnership with the JCCFA, invites the community to a special evening program exploring contemporary Jewish life in Poland.
Join us for “The Rebirth of Jewish Life in Poland,” a presentation by Jonathan Ornstein, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Krakow. Drawing on his extensive experience, Ornstein will discuss the revitalization of Jewish life in Poland today, with a particular focus on Krakow and the work of Jewish Community Centers in reconnecting individuals with Jewish roots and rebuilding vibrant communal life.
The program will also examine the lasting role of the Holocaust in Jewish identity and why Krakow’s Jewish community has emerged as a powerful symbol of resilience and hope for the global Jewish world.
